Assembly & First Impressions

The X3 arrives disassembled but well-packaged. While the box took a few hits during shipping, the components were undamaged and organized. Assembly took about **40 minutes** using the provided instructions. Hardware is appropriately beefy and the bench comes together with no drama.

You’re not getting polished, premium factory finishes here, but for the price point, that’s not the expectation. You’re getting something ready to be abused in a good way.

Build Quality, Stability & Adjustments

This bench is built with **3x3-inch steel tubing** and a **closed ladder-style adjustment system**. In flat mode, the bench is rock solid with almost no play. In incline positions, there's a bit of pad movement while getting set, but that disappears under load. My wife and I both noticed it, and neither of us had any complaints once lifting started.

Adjustability:

- Back Pad: 9 settings from 20° to 90° (no 10° setting)

- Seat Pad: 3 settings at 0°, 15°, and 30°
